 Ahora tal vez estés buscando comprensión alguna,

ahora que ya no quiero remediar tu decisión.

Tú sembraste la palabra olvido,

solamente olvido puedes cosechar.

Pena me das al verte deambular atormentada

por ese espacio donde la nada abunda,

donde crece la flor del desencuentro.

 

Ahora tal vez estés buscando comprensión alguna

pero ya es tarde,

hoy crecen otras flores en tu orilla,

me alimenta la brisa de una

nueva alborada, y me llena de paz el corazón.

 

Tú sólo eres la sombra de un pasado

que recordar no quiero, la breve pero

agridulce página, del libro de una historia

que intentaré no abrir jamás.

Ya ves,  que en ocasiones, atardece

en pleno amanecer.

 

A ti se te hizo tarde, la mañana,

intenta que la tarde, no se te vuelva noche.

 

Pero después de todo ¿a mí que ha de importarme

lo que hagas con tu vida?

 

Si a ti no te importó lo que sería de mí

después de aquel instante en que la palabra

feneció, al ver desplomarse el edificio de

ilusiones, que sílaba a sílaba , verso a verso,

intentábamos edificar entre los dos.

 

 

CANTAR,  SEÑORES ,  CANTAR

 

 

Cantar, señores, cantar

cantar como de rutina

quien debiera en una esquina

desconsolado llorar.

Nada me puede alegrar

en este amistoso encuentro.

Ahora mismo soy el centro

de desdichas y de agravios

muestro la risa en los labios

pero el dolor va por dentro.

  

Cómo voy a estar contento

si mi novia me dejó,

mi mujer me abandonó

y una amiga de momento

que era mi único aliento

por qué me huye no lo sé

Mi amante no sé por qué

me despidió el otro día

y hasta un gato que tenía

de la  casa se me fue.  

El tendero que me fiaba

ayer me cerró la cuenta

y mi casera , violenta,

a la calle me lanzaba.

El bar donde yo me daba

mis tragos ya no me fía

y un amigo que tenía

compinche en nuestros barullos

por limpiar él sus chanchullos

se chivó a la policía.

  

El final de este avatar

no ha llegado todavía

pero ahora en mi poesía

todo lo voy a aclarar.

Cada cosa en su lugar

debe estar según y creo.

Que sepan es mi deseo

que todo este desencaje

no fue mas que un largo viaje

en brazos del Dios Morfeo.

que ha causado gran dolor,

y alegría; al dictador

allá en su oscura guarida.

La diáspora compungida

está: como yo lo estoy.

Los “Tres Tristes Tigres”, hoy

llorando están tu partida.

Cuba, tus hijos mejores

van muriendo en el destierro,

mientras la mano de hierro

del dictador, sus peores

venablos aterradores

con total impunidad

lanza con rotundidad

desde Oriente hasta Occidente,

a toda pluma valiente

que reclame libertad.

Otro cubano ha caído

lejos de su tierra amada

otra pluma consagrada

de valor indiscutido.

Este patriota ha pedido

que su cuerpo calcinado

a su patria sea llevado

-como última voluntad-

cuando al fin la libertad

en Cuba se haya instalado.
